Today a few responses when people behave in an antisocial way:
When someone rides a bike on the left (wrong) side of the road:
British, I presume ..
To someone entering the road without looking around:
Forgot your white stick?
To someone behaving impertinently:
Is that your homework for the assertivity class,
or do you just lack good manners?
When Churchill worked at the Foreign Office, he heard someone talking French in a very loud and ostentatious voice.
Churchill asked: "What the hell is going on?"
"Mr so-and-so is talking to someone in France", was the answer.
To which Churchill seems to have answered:
"Then why doesn't he use the telephone?"
