LINKS  (9 march 2004)

Today just a few short things connected with my recent email:

A few times a week I receive an e-zine about language called Taalpost. Yesterday it had a story about a judge who reduced a lawyer's request for fees because his filings were infested with typographical errors. One example:

Had the defendants not tired to paper plaintiff's counsel to death, some type would not have occurred. Furthermore, there have been omissions by the defendants, thus they should not case stones.

Peter sent me a picture of one of the creatures that are going to be seen in Lord of the Rings part 4:

If you can read Dutch, I can recommend Zezunja's Weblog. And that is not just because the writer is a niece of mine.

By the way, you may have wondered about the symbol that separates these paragraphs.  Well, it's the Morse symbol for @, the first new Morse symbol that has been added to the Morse alphabet since World War II.

Are you interested in science? Or in humour? In either case, I can recommend this link.

Now that I'm handing out links to nice little movies, I might as well mention this one here. I know it made my day..

And finally a nice picture. I was told that you can now press <ctrl-A> but my keyboard doesn't work properly, so I wouldn't know ...

Hope you enjoyed this and will be back tomorrow.
