Chess Partner 2000 (double)

The chess computer "Chess Partner 2000" exists in at least two versions:
One is supposed to have been produced by Scisys, the other by Novag.
The Novag box originally bore a text reading "Program written by international chess master DAVID LEVY for CHESS CHAMPION". This text has been covered by a sticker.
This could indicate problems with the programmer or with copyright.
