The story of the sleepy salesman


A salesman comes home Friday night at a quarter to twelve, tired and worn out after a long day of hard work. He decides to take a very long rest - until two o'clock in the afternoon.

It's twelve o'clock when he winds up his alarm clock, sets it at two o'clock and falls asleep like a log.

The question is: for how long has the salesman slept when the alarm wakes him up?
